DRESSAGE
Our dressage arenas are some of the best in the country. We use the showground's permanent showing rings and immediate areas with plenty of warm-up space, ring side viewing and disabled parking.
SHOW JUMPING
The showjumping is held in the fabulous main Ardingly ring, possibly one of the best permanent grass arenas in the country which plays host to other top BSJA showjumping events. The main ring is overlooked by the Norfolk Pavilion with its own licensed bar, sponsors hospitality and our public catering outlets to one side.
There is a substantial warm up in the permanent Cuckfield ring. Both rings are aggravated with our specialist machinery and watered should the need arise.

CROSS COUNTRY
South of England courses run over the showground and adjoining farmland. There are three separate tracks for BE100, Novice and Intermediate in the Spring with the additional CIC*** & CIC** courses incorporating adjacent farmland. The BE100 and Novice courses are suitable for young horses.
The aggravators will be used on all tracks.

Abandonment Refund Policy :-
The South of England Horse Trials HAS SECURED ADANDONMENT INSURANCE TO COVER 90% OF YOUR ENTRY IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED / ABANDONED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER. Start fee will be refunded in full. Should the event be cancelled / abandoned as defined in rule 4.11.1 in your members handbook found at www.britisheventing.com
Other than adverse weather the BE scale of refund of entry fees will be applicable as set out in rule 4.12.2.

There is limited permanent stabling on the Showground with additional boxes at Hickstead Showground (25 mins away). Priority on site stabling is given to competitors staying two nights on a first come first served basis.
